We know that exploration raises questions, so we designed this FAQ as a moment of sharing, just like our excursions: simple, authentic and warm.
Where is the meeting place?
31 chemin de Lantokia in Uhart-Cize: 2 minutes by car from the tourist office of St-Jean-Pied-de-Port.
All our excursions start and end at our premises " The house of cocoons"
Possibility of departure from the station for people with reduced mobility, please contact us.
We have free parking for your cars or bikes.
How to join us ?
1/ By car or 2 wheels , 2 minutes from the tourist office of St-Jean-Pied-de-Port.

3/ By Train TER from Bayonne 15 minutes walk from the station of St-Jean-Pied-de-Port.
How do our excursions take place?

2 Before departure, Olivier will take the time to share his instructions with you.
To enhance your experience, he will enrich the breaks with comments adapted to what surrounds you (biodiversity, history, etc.).
3/ The excursion will be carried out at a gentle pace to enjoy the exceptional panoramas and respect the environment. Breaks at strategic points will be planned for observation and photos (and a tasting of our local products for those of you who have opted for Egunsentia, Askari or Lina ren izarra)
How do I book my excursion?

Various information will be requested: name, date, desired service, number of people and means of payment among those listed below.
In accordance with our general conditions of sale, we thank you for informing us 48 hours in advance if there are person with reduces mobility, minors, animals, food intolerances or allergies (if service with tasting chosen )
Are privatizations possible?
Yes, the Zuretako offer allows you to consider tailor-made requests including privatization: contact us!
What payment methods are accepted?
- By credit card on our site epottok.fr only at the time of booking (secure site).
- Bank transfer
- Holiday vouchers, Pays Basque Au Coeur gift vouchers and cash on site.
What are the cancellation conditions?
More than 72 hours before the excursion, full refund.
Less than 72 hours before the excursion, the amount is due in full, no refund will be possible. We remain flexible and attentive in the event of an exceptional situation.
Attention! We ask all participants to arrive at the announced departure time as it will take place punctually at the scheduled time without the possibility of waiting so as not to impact the schedule of the following excursions.
In case of no-show or delay, no refund will be granted.
What happens in case of unfavorable weather?
Your safety and comfort are our priority, our cocoon can be completely closed and heated depending on the weather and the season.
Cloudy weather or scattered showers do not affect our excursions in any way.
We use common sense and discernment when making decisions, so in the event of bad weather and very poor conditions, the excursion may be postponed to another date, or else fully refunded.
So remember to book at the beginning of your stay in order to change your schedule if necessary.
What are the restrictions?
No serious medical contraindication.
Our cocoons have specific dimensions which may limit accessibility for certain body types. To ensure an optimal experience and to guarantee everyone's comfort and safety, we invite you to contact us before booking.
Maximum exit capacity of 9 people (1 place for the accompanying guide !)
Children are allowed on an approved booster seat from 4 years old to 10 years old in the passenger seat.
In accordance with our general conditions of sale, regarding minors, the presence of a legal representative is mandatory, an identity document will be requested for each.
Driving license to have on you for the entire duration of the excursion (no license, no excursion).
With a sincere aim of preserving our natural heritage, we never leave the marked trails or roads: follow the guide !
Do I need to book in advance?
Highly recommended! Our intimate tours are popular and our places are limited: E-pottok has a fleet of five 2-seater cocoons offering a maximum of 9 places per excursion.
With very high demand during the summer period, weekends and school holidays, a minimum reservation of 15 days in advance is recommended to be sure of experiencing your adventure (particularly for group or family outings).
What should be planned?
Closed shoes for driving are required, no flip-flops or thongs.
In good weather, our vehicles are completely open, so you can bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, sunglasses, a light windbreaker for breaks, and a water bottle.
In gloomy or cold weather, our vehicles are closed and can be heated. Sunglasses are always welcome. Warmer and waterproof clothing for breaks.
In all weathers and in all seasons: your driving license, your camera and your good mood!
What can we bring or transport?
For people with reduced mobility, folding wheelchairs, walkers, canes or crutches will find their place in the back of our cocoons.

Our 4-legged friends are welcome. Depending on their size, either with the front passenger or in the back, but always attached (safety and Natura 2000 zone required).

Our business is insured against professional multi-risks, each vehicle is fully insured.

Our guide holds Primary & Secondary Care CPR/AED/First Aid-Adult
As the lead vehicle, we ensure secure and are prepared to manage any emergency situation in the wilderness.
